Our Effective Research Proposal training course is designed to give early and mid-career academic staff advice on how to write a high-quality effective grant proposal, highlighting the Impact and Knowledge Exchange elements to meet the RCUK's Pathway's To Impact guidance and creating the potential to write high scoring applications.
Our Effective Research Proposals workshop is ideal for early and mid-career academic staff who are expected to write funding applications for Research Councils and the Technology Strategy Board. It informs delegates how to: communicate effectively with peer reviewers and RCUK commissioners; understand what is expected from partners and stakeholders; write effective Impact and Knowledge Exchange Statements; ‘sell’ their research proposal to funders; and construct an effective proposal structure.The course can be tailored to an institution or department’s Research Council interest.
