AGM Trading Update

 Idox plc (AIM: IDOX), a leading supplier of information management software solutions and services to the public sector, is holding its Annual General Meeting later today. The Chairman, Laurence Vaughan, will make the following remarks:

“Idox has made a strong start to the new financial year building on the good performance and organic and acquisitive growth of 2016, with trading for the current financial year in line with our expectations. We are seeing a solid pipeline of opportunities and are pleased to have recently secured significant contracts in healthcare and transport and continuing wins across other segments.

Earlier this month we launched our new Idox Health division, which includes our most recent acquisition, 6PM, which completed on 31 January. This represents a significant opportunity to expand in the healthcare market, in which Idox is delivering innovative technology solutions that support the NHS to improve patient care and deliver efficiencies. Encouragingly, Idox Health has recently won contracts with two acute hospital trusts and has been awarded a grant by NHS England to develop a product to improve hospital efficiency and improve treatment outcomes for in-patients in acute stroke care.

Further recent public sector wins include Cloud Amber, our transport management solutions business, joining the Government’s Low Emission Freight and Logistics Trial. Cloud Amber will trial its ground breaking smartphone application, Greenwave, in Birmingham to encourage fleet drivers to drive more efficiently, cutting emissions and improving air quality.

This level of activity combined with a current stable outlook in all our markets combined with our strong revenue visibility, order book and pipeline bodes well for the year as whole. Overall, the outlook is encouraging and our expectations for the Group’s financial performance are unchanged.”
